Robert Thomas Named President
at United Bank & Trust
The United Bank & Trust Board of Directors announced that Robert Thomas has been promoted to President of United Bank & Trust. Thomas, who has been United Bank’s Senior Loan Officer and Senior Vice President since 2015 will transition into the new role on July 1, upon the retirement of current Bank President, Curt Hoff.
Thomas’s banking career spans over 38 years, all in the Marshalltown community. The local Board is confident that his extensive background in lending, retail banking and leadership make him a great fit to serve as President at United Bank & Trust.
Active in the community, Thomas currently serves as a Rotary board member, and is involved with Child Abuse Prevention Services, Marshall County Compensation board, and East Marshall Schools Vocational Advisory committee. He is the past President of the United Way board.

Thomas and his wife, Julie reside in rural Marshalltown.
